A cooperative puzzle game called Fireboy and Watergirl 5: Elements was created by Oslo Albet and published in 2019. The same two characters from the first four titles in the Fireboy and Watergirl series return in this, the fifth installment.
There are many temples in the game, each with a distinct elemental motif, including the wind temple, the ice temple, and the fire temple. The player must progress through the increasingly challenging levels of each temple by solving puzzles and getting past obstacles.
As in earlier installments of the series, Fireboy is impervious to fire and can traverse lava unhurt, while Watergirl is impervious to water and can pass through water bodies unharmed. To answer puzzles and advance through the levels, players must make use of their understanding of each character's advantages and disadvantages. To win the game, the participants must cooperate and communicate with one another.
Select a character: You can select to participate as either Fireboy or Watergirl at the beginning of the game. Both personalities have special skills and flaws of their own.
Make your way through the levels: Each temple has several stages with various difficulties and barriers. Move your character using the arrow buttons, and the other character using the WASD keys. (if playing with two players).
To advance through each stage, you must solve puzzles and get past challenges like pushing blocks, turning on switches, and dodging dangers.
Utilize elemental abilities: The game also includes other elemental powers like wind, ice, and poison in addition to fire and water. Use these abilities wisely to overcome challenges because they have various effects on the characters.
Cooperation is required for Fireboy and Watergirl to successfully finish each level. To advance through the levels, talk to your partner and coordinate your moves.
Diamonds can be collected for bonus points at the end of each stage. Make sure to fully investigate each level as there may be some diamonds hidden there.
Avoid dangers: The game contains a number of dangers, such as spikes, fire, and water, which can hurt the characters. To keep your characters living and advance through the levels, avoid them.
Saving progress enables you to pick up where you left off the next time you play by automatically saving your progress after each stage.
